Inuxu, a Digital Media Technology company, depicts in its report titled
‘The Indian e-consumer mobile / tablet landscape', the latest trends on the top
searched gadget brands and models online. Besides the winners and possible
challengers, the report also gives an indication of the brands that are in
danger of losing their current position. Read on to know 9 most desired
mobile brands in India based on the report.
#9 LG
Desire Rate: 2.36 percent.
Probability of losing the most desired brand status: 45.5 percent.
This South Korean electronics company is not as desirable as the
country’s counterpart, Samsung. Some of the Smartphones by LG like Optimus G
Pro, Google Nexus 4, Optimus G, and Optimus 4X HD are generating quite a steer
in the mobile market, and it is these gadgets that projected LG to 9th spot on
the list. However there’s a 45.5 percent possibility that LG may lose its
desirability and slide further down in the list.
#8 Karbonn
Desire Rate: 2.52 percent.

its current position. The Indian handset manufacturer has bevy of
Smartphones that varies in specs and prices. Karbonn recently launched two
budget Smartphones, Smart A1 and Karbonn Smart A5, that will offer Android
experience to the consumers at the cost as low as 5000. The company also bringing some Smartphones with specs like
quad-core processor, HD screen, mali graphics and many more, like in Titanium
S6.
#7 BlackBerry

Once a leading Smartphone maker has now bowed down to Samsung and
Apple’s dominance. BlackBerry’s latest offerings like Z10, Q10, and Q5 are
setting the stage right for the company’s return into consumers’ wish list, and
so the reason why it has ran fast Karbonn, to get 7th spot on the list.
However, according to the report, the company yet faces about 55.5 percent
probability of loosing its current spot.
#6 HTC
Desire Rate: 6.99 percent

quite stable at its current position and it has about 60 percent chances of
replacing the brand that topped this list. Like Samsung, HTC too has come up
with wide range of Smartphones at different price points and specs. The company
has HTC Explorer that is prices as low as 7,500. There are mid-range mobiles like Wildfire S, Desire- C,V, X, VC
and others. Its high end mobiles like HTC Butterfly, One X+, One X and others
are quite popular in Indian Smartphone market.

growing up into a competitor for international brands. Though started offering

chances that it may replace the top brand on this list. Thanks to its

company seems to be regaining its popularity in India again. The report says
that Lumia 920 is in the list of most desired Smartphones in India at 22.03
percent desire rate. The company too offers Windows Phone based Smartphones at
different price points and specs. Its Lumia 520 is the lowest costing handset
at 9,000 that runs on latest Windows Phone 8 platform. Then there are
Lumia 620, 720 at mid range and Lumia 820 covers gap between mid and high range

going great at its current postion. This South Korean Electronics giant
has held to its number one position globally and as well as in India. The
company offers many handsets at different price points and specs. Its mid
range Smartphone, Galaxy S Duos, is the one of the most desired sets in India
at desire rate of 19.05 percent. And the company’s flagship mobile, Galaxy S4
is breaking records in high-end Smartphone sales.
