Various Skin Diseases:


1.   Skin Cancer:

Skin cancer is the uncontrolled growth of cancer cells in the skin. Left untreated, these cells can spread to other organs and tissues, such as lymph nodes and bone.

 

2.      Acne:

Acne is a skin condition that causes whiteheads, blackheads, and inflamed red lesions (papules, pustules, and cysts) to form. These growths are commonly called pimples or "zits."


3.      Cold Sore:

Cold sores are red, fluid-filled blisters that appear near the mouth or on other areas of the face.


4.      Psoriasis:

Psoriasis is a noncontiguous chronic skin condition characterized by scaly patches of skin.


5.      Rosacea:

Rosacea is a chronic skin condition involving inflammation of the cheeks, nose, chin, forehead, or eyelids.


6.      Seborrheic Eczema:

Seborrheic dermatitis is a common, inflammatory skin condition that causes flaky, white to yellowish scales to form on oily areas such as the scalp or inside the ear.


7.      Hives:

Hives are raised, often itchy, red welts on the surface of the skin. They are usually an allergic reaction to food or medicine.


8.      Vitiligo:

Vitiligo is a skin condition in which there is loss of pigment (color) from areas of skin, resulting in irregular white patches that feel like normal skin.


9.      Herpes Stomatitis:

Herpetic stomatitis is a viral infection of the mouth that causes ulcers and inflammation. These mouth ulcers are not the same as canker sores, which are caused by a different virus.


10.  Mouth Ulcers:

Mouth ulcers are a common condition where open sores appear inside the mouth or on the lips.


11.  Stasis Dermatitis and Leg Ulcers:

Stasis dermatitis is a skin condition due to the buildup of fluid (swelling) under the skin.


12.  Eczema:

Eczema is a common skin condition characterized by itchy and inflamed patches of skin.


13.  Dermatomyositis:

Dermatomyositis is a muscle disease characterized by inflammation and a skin rash. It is a type of inflammatory myopathy.


14.  Ichthyosis Vulgaris:

Ichthyosis vulgaris is a common skin disorder passed down through families that leads to dry, scaly skin.


15.  Canker Sore:

A canker sore (aphthous ulcer) is a mouth ulcer or sore that is open and painful. They are the most common type of mouth ulcer.


16.  Erysipelas

Erysipelas is a type of skin infection usually caused by group A Streptococcus bacteria.


17.  Impetigo

Impetigo is a common skin infection caused by strep or staph bacteria, or MRSA.


18.  Carbuncle

A carbuncle is a skin infection that often involves a group of hair follicles. The infected material forms a lump, called mass, which occurs deep in the skin. 


19.  Cutaneous Candidiasis

Cutaneous candidiasis is infection of the skin with candida fungus.


20.  Warts

Warts - we all get them and we all find them embarrassing, ugly and inconvenient.
